Designing a Blog Template

Blogging has become the new fad among internet users. You can join or subscribe to blogs. Blogs tackle every subject under the sun, as long as the subject is not illegal. If you wish to start your own blogging site, make it interesting so that bloggers will be encouraged to join. Here are some of the instructions for starting your own blog.

First, you have to register for an online blog account. Join a blog site because it is easier to make your own blog within an existing site. There are blog sites where registration is easy and there are no membership charges, like blogger.com. Afterwards, name your blog. The name of your site should be unique and eye catching. Then, make your blog page. Start designing your blog site by using the template provided by online sites. Choose designs that best describe you. Select a background design. It is up to you if you prefer a simple white default or you can just download a background picture, if the site allows it. You may want to use graphics by using your own software or programmes. Select the font style. Use a bigger and bolder font with colour for your header. Use smaller fonts for your sub headers, and smaller and simpler fonts for your blog entries.

The use of HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) is optional. Add a banner that can link you to various sites. Upload photos and videos from a memory card or CD. If possible, update and monitor your blog site regularly. If there are comments or questions to be answered, reply as needed.
